Her awards and honors include a Tony Award for A Delicate Balance, a Tony Nomination for Father's Day, a Drama Desk Award for Father's Day, a Drama Desk Nomination for Ivanov, an Obie Award for The Ginger Man, an Obie Award for Isadora Duncan, the Connecticut Critics Award for Three Tall Women, an Ovation (LA) Award for Three Tall Women, a Helen Hayes Nomination for Three Tall Women, and was inducted into the Theatre Hall of Fame in 1996.
